San Ramon Art and Wind Festival 2026

One of San Ramon’s favorite community traditions is returning this Memorial Day weekend, and it’s always one of those events people look forward to every year.

The annual San Ramon Art and Wind Festival 2026 will take place at Central Park on May 24 and 25, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. The festival brings together live entertainment, local artists, great food, family activities, and of course the colorful kite displays that have become a signature part of the weekend.

What makes this event special is how community focused it feels. Whether you are walking through the art booths, relaxing on the lawn while listening to live music, or watching giant kites fill the sky above the park, it is the kind of event where there is something for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s festival will feature entertainment across multiple stages throughout the weekend. A variety of cultural performances and local talent, including K-pop dance groups, Filipino and Vietnamese dance performances, Indian classical dance, martial arts demonstrations, acapella groups, and youth performers from around the San Ramon community.

Families with children will have plenty to explore throughout the weekend as well. The Kid Zone will feature free arts and crafts activities each day, while the free kite making workshop inside the Community Center gives kids the chance to create and fly their own kites.

One of the biggest highlights every year is the professional kite flying demonstrations happening daily on Field 1. Visitors can also catch the popular Dueling Kites shows taking place twice each day.

Beyond the music and kites, there will also be skateboard and scooter demonstrations, bubble shows, puppet performances, and hands on science activities happening throughout the festival grounds, making it an easy event to spend the entire day enjoying with family and friends.

Art lovers can also stop by the Lindsay Dirkx Brown Gallery inside the Community Center to view artwork from featured festival artist Jeffrey Brewer, along with a special artist meet and poster signing on Monday afternoon.

In honor of Memorial Day, the city will host a Memorial Day Program at Memorial Park on Monday morning at 9:00 AM before the festival activities begin.

Whether you are attending for the live music, family activities, food, or simply to enjoy time outdoors, the Art and Wind Festival continues to be one of the best ways to experience the San Ramon community.
