Kellie's Recipe

Kellie was the first to respond when we asked for the team's favorite recipe. She shared a recipe that is her favorite around this time of year or for Thanksgiving - it's Creamed Corn. Her recipe comes from AllRecipes.com and Kellie makes it exactly as written, no changes.
Creamed Corn
Ingredients:
- 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, or more to taste
Directions:
Step 1: Gather all ingredients.
Step 2: Combine corn, heavy cream, sugar, butter, salt, and black pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter melts, 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk milk and flour together until smooth.
Step 4: Gently wisk in the milk and flour mixture into the skillet; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and corn is heated through, about 4 minutes.
Step 5: Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Serve hot.
This looks delicious and I think it will become a family fall favorite too! Let us know if you try making this recipe.
